Objectives
|
The objectives of the digiCULT project are as follows:
- Long-term safeguarding of a cultural heritage by means of a common technological concept for digital recording and distribution
- Strengthening of the cultural and economic location by making the province’s cultural treasures available on web-based databases
- Improving the level of qualification and professionalism of those involved in the project
- Boosting the region by means of exchange, creation of a profile and collaboration
- Creation of new digital educational resources from the museums’ knowledge pool
- Further development of tools and vocabularies for von Werkzeugen und Vokabularen zum knowledge management and data exchange
- Data transfer to portals of overriding importance as BAM, GBV, Prometheus, MICHAEL, DDB, Europana
